İçişleri Bakanlığı Sivil Toplumla İlişkiler Genel Müdürlüğü tarafından desteklenen, Havran Kalkınma Yerel Eylem Grubu Derneği tarafından yürütülen HAKUT (Havran Arama Kurtarma Ekibi) Projesi kapsamında, Balıkesir Üniversitesi Havran Meslek Yüksekokulu’nda “Temel Afet Eğitimi” gerçekleştirildi. Havran Meslek Yüksekokulu Konferans Salonu’nda düzenlenen eğitime öğrenciler, akademik personel ve idari personel yoğun ilgi gösterdi. Eğitimde afet öncesinde alınması gereken tedbirler, afet anında doğru davranış şekilleri, ilk müdahale yöntemleri, arama kurtarma çalışmalarının temel prensipleri ve afet bilincinin önemi hakkında kapsamlı bilgiler verildi. Uzman eğitmenler tarafından gerçekleştirilen programda, Türkiye’nin deprem başta olmak üzere çeşitli doğal afet riskleri taşıyan bir ülke olduğu vurgulanırken, afetlere hazırlıklı bireyler yetiştirmenin hayati önem taşıdığı ifade edildi. Katılımcılara, olası afet durumlarında panik yapmadan hareket etmenin, doğru tahliye yöntemlerinin ve ekip çalışmasının arama kurtarma faaliyetlerindeki kritik rolü anlatıldı. Eğitim süresince öğrenciler ve personel, merak ettikleri konular hakkında soru sorma fırsatı bulurken, afetlere karşı bireysel hazırlık yöntemleri konusunda da bilgilendirildi. Programın amacı, toplumda afet farkındalığını artırmak ve gönüllü arama kurtarma faaliyetlerine yönelik bilinç oluşturmak olarak açıklandı. HAKUT Projesi kapsamında düzenlenen eğitimin sonunda programa katılan öğrencilere Havran Belediye Başkan Yardımcısı Mehmet YILMAZ ve eğitmenler tarafından katılım belgeleri takdim edildi. Belge töreninde, afetlere hazırlıklı bir toplum oluşturulmasında gençlerin ve eğitim kurumlarının üstlendiği rolün önemine dikkat çekildi.
The HAKUT (Havran Search Recovery Team) project, supported by the Directorate General of Civil Society Relations of the Ministry of Interiors, was held in Balıkesir University Havran Vocational High School. Students, academic staff and administrative staff were interested in the education organized at the Havran Vocational High School Conference Hall. The measures to be taken prior to disaster in education were given comprehensive information about the importance of immediate correct behavioral shapes, first methods of intervention, basic principles of search recovery work and disaster consciousness. In the program carried out by specialist trainers, Turkey’s earthquake is highlighted to be a country that carries various natural disaster risks, while people prepared for disasters were expressed to be vital. The participants described the critical role in acting without panic in possible disaster situations, correct relief methods and call recovery activities of teamwork. During the course of education, students and staff had the opportunity to ask questions about what they wondered, they were informed about individual preparation methods against disasters. The aim of the program was explained in order to increase disaster awareness in society and create awareness for voluntary search recovery activities. At the end of the training held under HAKUT Project, Havran Mayor Deputy Mehmet YILMAZ and presented documents for participation by instructors. In the document ceremony, attention was paid to the importance of the role of young people and educational institutions in the creation of a society prepared for disasters.
